SoapQuest was created in May 2021 during the Covid-19 pandemic. It initially began as a hobby to combat my mental health issues. As a disabled vet, I had long battled with Depression, Anxiety, and PTSD. The pandemic created a new and unknown dynamic for all of the world and I was now faced with finding a way to keep my own battles at bay in this new world. I set out on a quest to find something to escape in. That is when I learned about handmade soap and immediately fell in love. I knew this was something I could happily get lost in; creating, crafting, and designing endlessly. From this seed came the idea that I could also turn my new found passion into a small business and thus SoapQuest was born. SoapQuest was a journey for me and it is my hope to now share that journey in a unique way with all of you!
